The MPX-TOP modules are designed for long-term storage under pressure and release of gaseous fire extinguishing agents into the protected volume when extinguishing fires of classes "A" (solid flammable substances), "B" (liquid flammable substances) and "E" (extinguishing electrical equipment under voltage)

The MPX-TOP module is a ready-to-use product and consists of the following components:
- steel cylinder, stamped and welded, cylindrical shape
- shut-off and starting device
- electromagnetic drive
- pressure gauge
- pressure indicator electrocontact
- safety membrane
- nozzles for spraying GOTV
- ceiling or wall mount
- gaseous fire extinguishing agent
Types of launches of the MPX-TOP module.
Automatic start:
It occurs by triggering the electromagnetic valve ZPU (reusable) when an electrical impulse is supplied from the fire alarm control device.
Manual (remote) start:
It occurs by triggering the electromagnetic valve ZPU (reusable) when an electrical impulse is supplied by pressing the button of the manual alarm.
Operating principle of the MPX-TOP module.
After receiving a signal from the fire detectors to the fire control and receiving device, this device generates a pulse to trigger the electromagnetic drive of the MPX-TOP module. The valve of the shut-off and starting device opens, the GOTV is released into the protected area under the action of the pressure in the module through the spray nozzle.
When the pressure in the module drops below 2.0 MPa, a signal about the module’s activation or depressurization is sent from the electric contact pressure indicator to the control and monitoring device.
