High-voltage devices of the KSO type (single-sided maintenance prefabricated chamber), with a rated working voltage of the main circuit up to 10 kV in three-phase alternating current networks with a frequency of 50 Hz with an isolated or grounded neutral through an arc-quenching reactor or resistor, are intended for use in complete transformer substations operated in various industries, including nuclear power plants. UVN cabinets are a frame metal structure with power and auxiliary switching equipment permanently installed inside. UVNs allow cable feed from above, below, and connection to the transformer from the left and right sides. Additionally, the main circuit may contain: OPN (surge limiting devices); phase-by-phase voltage indicator; cabinet heating device. In order to ensure safety during operation, the UVNs are equipped with the necessary mechanical and electromechanical interlocks in accordance with GOST 14693-90.
