KSO-285-5PV-600 UHL3.1, where KSO is a one-way service assembly chamber; 285 is a modification of the chamber (285 – 1985, 292 – 1992, 298 – 1998, 366 – 1966, 386 – 1986, 393 – 1993);
5 – serial number of the main circuit diagram; PV – circuit breaker type (PV – VPMP-10 circuit breaker with PPO-10 drive; E – VPM-10 circuit breaker with PE-11 drive); 600 – rated current of the chamber (400, 600 or 1000 A); UHL3.1 – climatic version and placement category. By special order, KSO chambers can be manufactured for a lower ambient air temperature of down to minus 45° C, while the order form must be as follows: "KSO-285-5PV-600 UHL3.1, TU 3434-006-971054348-2009, minus 45° C". General requirements – KSO chambers must comply with GOST 14693, the requirements of these technical conditions and a set of design documentation, approved in the established manner.

The altitude above sea level is no more than 1000 m.
The environment is non-explosive and does not contain conductive dust, aggressive vapors and gases in concentrations that destroy metal and insulation.
The degree of protection according to GOST 14254 is IP20 for the outer shells of the facade and the sides of the chambers and IP0 0 for the rest of the KSO chambers.
The group of operating conditions in terms of exposure to mechanical factors of the external environment is M1 according to GOST 17516.1.
The operating mode of the KSO chambers is continuous.
The working position of the cameras in space is vertical, the permissible deviation from the vertical is no more than 5 degrees.
The busbar system is single-row with non-insulated busbars.
The electrical strength of the insulation of the main and auxiliary circuits of the KSO chambers must comply with the requirements of GOST 1516.1.
KSO chambers must meet the requirements of GOST 8024 with regard to heating under long-term load with rated current.
When exposed to short-circuit currents, the heating temperature of the current-carrying parts of the chamber (main circuit diagrams) must not exceed the maximum permissible values specified in the table:
