Pipeline Inspection

Examination and diagnostics are carried out with access to the outer surface of the pipe using an automated system that allows on-site to obtain data on the condition of the base metal and welds of pipelines. The result of a comprehensive automated ultrasonic inspection of pipelines is the detection of defects in the walls of metal pipes and welds, followed by selection of the types and determination of the parameters of the defects found on the basis of the obtained visual image.

The equipment used in the inspection, diagnosis and flaw detection of pipelines has no analogues in the world. The complex was developed by our company’s specialists by order of Orgenergogaz DOAO and is currently being used at Gazprom facilities.

The main features of the complex:

• Productivity - up to 6 m / min;
• Sensitivity - detects defects with a depth of 1 mm;
• Efficiency - recording control results in real time;
• Reliability - control over a rough surface and ensuring 100% repeatability of results;
• Reliability - operating temperature range from -30 ° С to + 50 ° С;
• Mobility - transported by two and controlled by one operator.

Additionally, the laboratory carries out manual control of pipeline welds using modern technologies - metal tomography based on devices with a phased array, which allows to increase the speed and reliability of control results.
