Ural Machine Plant ”(LLC“ UMP ”) designs and manufactures original machines and mechanisms demanded by practice for service and drilling enterprises of the oil and gas industry.

The presence of modern designs of machines and mechanisms, frequency-controlled electric drives to them allows us to offer customers sets of basic drilling equipment of various lifting capacities for a wide range of complete drilling rigs.

UMP also manufactures special purpose pumps (diaphragm pumps), which are used in aluminum plants to produce alumina.

UMP also provides services for the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment. Equipment recovery is carried out with the modernization and improvement of its technical characteristics.

All equipment, both manufactured according to new projects and after overhaul, is tested at the rolling and test stands of the plant. The technological equipment available at the plant allows machining of rotation bodies (shafts, axles, rotors and similar parts) up to 5,000 millimeters in length and up to 2,800 millimeters in diameter, milling of body parts with dimensions of 4,000 x 5,000 millimeters, gears and milling ( spur, helical) and planing (helical and chevron without technological grooves), processing of blanks from sheet and shaped steel (guillotine cutting, gas cutting, rolling, bending, etc.), as well as heat treatment. In the manufacture of gears for surface hardening, the ion nitriding method is used.

The quality management system is certified according to the international standard ISO 9001: 2008 and meets the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2008. Certificate No. SDS.TT.SMK.00145-12. The head office of UMP is located in Yekaterinburg, production facilities are located in the industrial zone in the immediate vicinity of the federal highway Yekaterinburg-Tyumen and the large station of the Sverdlovsk Railway.

The intellectual property of the plant includes technical documentation of machines and mechanisms for the development of its own design bureau, more than twenty patents for utility models and inventions.

The staff of the enterprise consists of well-known designers and engineers in the industry, experienced fitters and machine tools of the former Uralmash Production Association. The team has a unique technological skill based on the experience of several decades.
