Studying the Technical Condition of Wellbores
Casing Cementing Control
The cementing process is controlled by registering the main parameters of the cementing process in wells. Using a set of process sensors and a cementing control station “MEGATAMPONAGE”, the following parameters are measured:
- supply pressure;
- density of the injected solution;
- temperature of the injected solution;
- solution flow rate;
- flow rate for injection cycles;
- total volume of injected solution.
Documentation of the cementation process with the provision of diagram material allows the services of drilling and mining enterprises to carry out a full analysis of the quality of the work performed.
Downhole Acoustic TV
In open trunks by CAT are determined:
- the intervals of the collapse of the walls of the well,
- rock cavernosity intervals,
- single caverns
- single cracks
- formation dip angle
In studies in columns, the following tasks are solved:
- determination of the position and nature of pipe defects (wrinkles, tears, large clearances of coupling joints),
- the presence, position and nature of perforations.
Casing Cementing Quality Control
Studies on the quality control of cementing casing strings of all diameters are carried out by gamma-gamma cementometry (GHC), electromagnetic defectoscopy and acoustic cementometry (ACC). Well research is carried out using the equipment SGDT-100, TsM, MAK-2, MAK-3, MAK-9, CAT, EMDST.
Tasks to be solved:
- assessment of the spatial orientation and size of defects (channels, micro-gaps, discontinuities) in the cement ring;
- determination of the selective and integral density of the annular substance;
- assessment of casing eccentricity, cement lift, type of cement;
- study of the distribution of matter in the annulus by density sweep;
- assessment of the nature of the contact of cement with the column and rock;
- the study of the technical condition of the column (gaps, cracks, corrosion areas, location of centering lights, etc.).
Electromagnetic defectoscopy, gamma - gamma defectometry and tube profilometry
Tasks to be solved:
- distribution of the presence, sizes of well support elements (centralizers, couplings, nozzles, turbulators), and their compliance with the design;
- casing thickness;
- profiles, minimum and average section of pipes;
- locations of perforation intervals.
