Chassis design

• Reinforced chassis made of two longitudinal I-section side members (the load-bearing strips are made of Swedish OVAKO steel), connected by cross beams (for difficult road conditions);
• Longitudinal and transverse beams are made of low-alloy structural steel operating in temperatures ranging from -70 to +40°C;
• Support device JOST (Germany) with a lifting capacity of 24 tons with control on the right;
• Kingpin JOST (Germany) 2-inch in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 55.00, located according to ISO 1726;
• 2 wheel chocks (shoes).
• Basket for mounting 2 spare wheels, including 2 spare wheel mounts.
• Lateral underrun protection made in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 73.00.
• Rear protective device, in the form of a bent steel profile with an integrated license plate mount, manufactured according to UNECE regulations No. 58.01;
• Frame for registration number with STEELBEAR logo.

Axle unit

• 3-axle axle unit BPW Heavy Duty (Germany), drum brakes, reinforced design, wall section 15 mm, square axle is more resistant to twisting, which occurs on roads in Russia and the CIS with a lateral slope. Permissible load on each axle is 9000 kg;
• Reinforced air suspension BPW (Germany) - cushions with a diameter of 360 mm - with the ability to raise/lower.
• Reinforced shock absorbers (blue);
• Plastic half-wings in front of the first and behind the rear axles;
• A pair of SUER (Germany) mudguards with the STEELBEAR logo behind the rear axle.

Wheels and tires

• Wheel assembly 8 pcs. (incl. 2 spare);
• CONTINENTAL HTR 160K tires, size 385/65R22.5;
• Steel wheels 22.5x11.75.

Brake system

• Pneumatic electronic braking system WABCO TEBS-E 2S/2M (Germany), with RSS function (rollover control system) TEBS-E allows to obtain an optimal ratio between the braking forces of individual wheels, as well as between the tractor and the trailer;
• ABS sensors on the second axle;
• Diaphragm type brake chambers;
• Semi-automatic parking brake system with spring energy accumulators on the second and third axles;
• Two pneumatic connection heads (supply and control);
• ABS socket according to ISO7638 (without connecting cables to the tractor).

Electrical equipment

• Electrical equipment ASPOECK (Germany) in explosion-proof design. Cable and connectors are reliably protected from chemical and thermal effects, with a voltage of 24 volts in the network;
• Front white side lights – 2 pcs. below and 2 pcs. above;
• Rear red light marker lights – 2 pcs. at the top;
• Side marker lights – 8 pcs.;
• License plate lights – 2 pcs;
• Five-chamber rear lights with reflectors;
• Contour rear lights in rubber covers – 2 pcs.;
• Seven-pole connectors – 2 pcs. (without connecting cables with the tractor);
• Fifteen-pin connector for connecting electrical equipment (without connecting cable to the tractor);
• 3 LED lights for interior lighting of the body, switched on automatically when the right gate leaf is opened, powered by the on-board network of the semi-trailer.

Body

• Front steel wall made of corrugated steel sheet with a profile thickness of 40 mm, double base of the lower frame wall with a profile thickness of 45 mm, height approx. 300 mm;
• Side steel walls made of corrugated steel sheet with a profile thickness of 26.5 mm, double base of the lower frame wall with a profile thickness of 30 mm, height approx. 300 mm;
• The body roof is made of profiled steel;
• Load securing system in the form of steel rods installed on the front and side walls at a height of approximately 1000 mm from the floor;
• Ventilation holes on the side walls at the top (three on each).

Back gate

• Front steel wall made of corrugated steel sheet with a profile thickness of 40 mm, double base of the lower frame wall with a profile thickness of 45 mm, height approx. 300 mm;
• Side steel walls made of corrugated steel sheet with a profile thickness of 26.5 mm, double base of the lower frame wall with a profile thickness of 30 mm, height approx. 300 mm;
• The body roof is made of profiled steel;
• Load securing system in the form of steel rods installed on the front and side walls at a height of approximately 1000 mm from the floor;
• Ventilation holes on the side walls at the top (three on each).

Floor

• Made of laminated multilayer birch plywood 27 mm thick, corrugated surface;
• It is permitted to drive a forklift directly in the body; the total weight of the forklift is up to 4,460 kg.

Marking

• Partial reflective markings in accordance with ECE R48, yellow on sides and back.

Painting

• Preparation of steel surfaces by shot blasting to degree Sa 2½;
• Painting the chassis and body with a two-component polyurethane system Normadur (Finland) with preliminary application of a zinc-containing primer that protects the metal from “sublayer” corrosion;
• The exterior chassis colour is plain black (RAL 9005);
• The exterior body colour is plain blue (RAL 5002);
• The body is primed from the inside, color is white;
• Side protection without paint (aluminum), or metal-plastic (gray);
• Rear protective device in silver color;
• The wheel rims are silver-grey.
