It is designed for installation directly on a crossbar with a through hole using a threaded pin of the lower end-piece, washers and a nut. End-pieces are usually manufactured with M20, M22, M24 threads. The upper insulator head is made of aluminum alloy. The rubber coating of the upper and lower end-pieces and the use of waterproofing locks provide increased moisture resistance. The insulator design provides for fastening of uninsulated wires according to GOST 839 and insulated SIP wires according to GOST R 52373 in various ways - the wire can be fixed in a gutter or on the insulator neck using spiral ties. The aluminum alloy cover prevents the wire from slipping when installed in a gutter, and can also provide a blind fastening in the range of Ø20 ... 24 mm. When turning the power transmission line, the wire is fixed on the insulator neck.
